When Grace and Tyler reached out about their wedding happening at the peak of The Cape in Massachusetts at The Dan’l Webster Inn, I knew we were in for a great weekend. Sandwich, Massachusetts, is right at the top of the start of Cape Cod, which leads to other coastal spots like Provincetown. Cape Cod is a beautiful place for a wedding, scattered with beaches and the iconic coastal New England feel. The Dan’l Webster Inn wedding was exactly how Grace and Tyler had imagined their day, full of love from their family and friends, and a beautiful day on the coast of Massachusetts.
While Tyler and his closest friends got ready at The Dan’l Webster Inn in Sandwich, Grace and her friends got ready across town at her grandmother’s home on Sagamore Beach. This home is where Grace spent so much time as a child exploring the beaches and making memories with her family, the perfect place to get ready for a special day.

After Tyler’s tie was perfect and Grace looked stunning in her vintage bridal gown, the two met on the beach for an informal first look. As a New England wedding photographer, I have seen my fair share of first looks, and I loved the informal approach that Grace and Tyler decided on. By escaping some of the formalities, I believe that it allows for an authentic connection that the couple can share in. Especially being a hybrid photographer, shooting both digital and film photography, the candidness and genuine connection is captured beautifully on film. Grace’s vintage-style bridal gown and classic touches also created a wonderful sense of instant nostalgia in the film photographs. They shared vows privately with one another and took time to connect before making their way to the church to make things official.

Another meaningful space was where Grace and Tyler’s ceremony took place. The UCC church in downtown Sandwich, just steps away from The Dan’l Webster Inn, was where Grace and her family attended service in her youth. This created a safe and relaxed feeling at their ceremony. Each person in the pews looked upon Grace and Tyler with such adoration, letting the couple soak up all the love during their ceremony.

After the nuptials were performed and Grace and Tyler had sealed the deal with a kiss, their friends and family made their way down the street to The Dan’l Webster Inn, where the festivities began. Cocktail hour, a lovely dinner, followed by dancing, rounded out the evening.
Inside the Dan’l Webster Inn, the ballroom is uniquely structured similarly to a greenhouse with clear window walls and a glass ceiling. This created a romantic and intimate feeling in the luxurious space.

Grace also made a change into a secondary outfit that complemented her artsy side. The modern skirt and blue floral corset top were simply amazing! The flare added so much to their evening portraits inside The Dan’l Webster Inn.
