A Colorful Summer Soiree: Kaitlynn + William, Married on Sebago Lake Maine

Kaitlynn and William’s wedding at the Rockcraft Lodge wedding venue on Sebago Lake in Sebago, Maine, were nothing short of beautiful. On the warm August day I had the privilege of capturing their love against the backdrop of Maine’s picturesque landscape on Sebago Lake.

The first thing that struck me upon arriving at the Rockcraft Lodge was the burst of colors that adorned every corner. Kaitlynn and William had a penchant for the vibrant, and it showed in their choice of decor. From the vivid flower arrangements to the eclectic table settings, every detail screamed of a couple unafraid to infuse their celebration with authenticity.

The lakeside ceremony was a breathtaking affair. The gentle lapping of the water and the rustling of leaves in the soft breeze created a natural symphony, the perfect backdrop for a ceremony that felt both intimate and impressive. The Rockcraft Lodge’s estate, surrounded by towering pines, lent an air of timeless elegance to the occasion. One couldn’t help but be captivated by the couple’s genuine connection. Kaitlynn and William radiated joy. The lakeside ceremony embodied the essence of a Maine summer – full of fun whilst also intimate, and steeped in natural beauty.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the celebration moved to a beautifully adorned tent for the cocktail hour. The air buzzed with laughter and clinking glasses as friends and family mingled, sipping on signature cocktails dedicated to both of their dogs, Maya and Archie. The tent, lit with string lights and candles, created an enchanting atmosphere that seamlessly transitioned from the still lakeside setting to the lively celebration within.

One of the highlights of the evening was the High Roller Lobster Company dinner. A Maine wedding wouldn’t be complete without a nod to the state’s culinary delights, and Kaitlynn and William chose to celebrate with a feast of fresh lobster rolls.

A special guest made an appearance throughout the day – the couple’s French Bulldog, Archie. Dressed in a dapper bowtie and blue suit, Archie stole the show with his playful antics. As he trotted around the dance floor, it became clear that Kaitlynn and William had seamlessly integrated their furry friend into the celebration, making it a true family affair.

In every photograph I took on this day, I could see the thread of love and authenticity that wove through Kaitlynn and William’s wedding. It was a celebration that mirrored the vibrant hues of a Maine summer – colorful, genuine, and filled with warmth. As the night came to a close, and the twinkling lights faded into the darkness, I couldn’t help but feel privileged to have witnessed and captured the magic of a love so beautifully celebrated alongside Sebago Lake.

We capped off the evening with smoke and sparkler portraits to add a little bit of spice to the final gallery. Ultimately, Kaitlynn and William’s wedding wasn’t just an event; it was a testament to the beauty that unfolds when connection meets authenticity in the heart of Maine.
