Molly and Tushar’s engagement session began amidst pink blossom trees in the Old Port in Portland Maine. Against this romantic backdrop, their engagement session unfolded naturally. It is not hard to photograph a couple who is so easily candid with one another. Sweet moments passed between Molly and Tushar as they laughed, snuggled and posed together in the pop of spring.

Navigating the cobblestone streets hand in hand, Molly and Tushar embraced the timeless charm of the Old Port. The bricks laid a lovely backdrop for their chic street style wardrobe for the session. As a New England wedding photographer, it is so important for me to meet up with my couples and not only get some photos of the two of them before their big day but to meet and get to know each other before their big day. It was such a pleasure to show Molly and Tushar around the Portland area and break the ice by roaming around and experiencing being in front of the camera before their wedding day this August.

Venturing beyond the city limits, we found ourselves on the rugged coastline of Cape Elizabeth. Here, amidst the ocean and cliffs, Molly and Tushar explored the coastline together. As the sun dipped below the horizon, we captured the remainder of their portraits against the scenic backdrop.

In the end, Molly and Tushar’s engagement session wasn’t simply snapping photos, but capturing their connection. I am so excited to be photographing their wedding later this year. Congratulations to Molly and Tushar, I am so excited for our next adventure together in Connecticut this August!
