In the heart of New Hampshire’s captivating landscapes lies a hidden gem – Franconia Notch. As the sun began its ascent over the horizon, a truly magical engagement session unfolded, capturing the love story of Candace and Chris. Guided by the artistic eye of Emily Leonard Photography, this engagement session was a picturesque example of the beauty of New Hampshire in the Fall.
Amongst the foliage, before the daylight peaked over the ridge of the mountains, Candace and Chris trekked up the steep trail in search of sunrise. Their efforts were not in vain as the couple make it past the tree break right in time to experience the flood of light from the sun over the peaks of the White Mountains that hugged the location of the session.
The session was simply perfect with the soft golden light of sunrise filling the morning sky and waking the color of the foliage in the trees below. In the background, you can witness the off-season beauty of Canon Mountain ski resort which sits adjacent to Echo Lake that reflects the autumn New Hampshire foliage.
Candace and Chris told their love story through stolen glances, soft touches, and authentic embraces during their session. I could not have imagined a more beautiful location for such genuine and candid love that was palpable during Chris and Candace’s session. I am so excited about their wedding that will be happening in just a few short months!
