Exploring the Cliffs of Acadia: Our adventure began amidst the cliffs of Acadia National Park, where the dramatic scenery provided the perfect backdrop for candid moments. Despite the overcast skies, Tatiana and Meaghanne’s session was filled with bright laughter and moments of connection between the two lovely women.
Next stop? A rocky beach just down the road. Here, amidst the crashing waves and salty breeze, we embraced the wild beauty of Maine’s coastline. I snapped film on my 35mm alongside the digital photos which created instant nostalgia. The grain, vintage coloring, and slightly out-of-focus elements only add to a feeling of capturing core memories during our time together.
As we made our way around the park we stumbled upon a mossy hill adorned with rocks and boulders. Against this natural backdrop, Tatiana and Meaghanne posed effortlessly, their love palpable with every smile and canoodle.
As the day drew to a close, we made our way into Ellsworth for a cozy session at Provender Kitchen. Surrounded by warmth and good food, Tatiana and Meaghanne’s connection seemed to glow even brighter, a testament to the joy of simply being together. After some drinks and asking a very kind waitress to move for a shutter drag photo, the session drew to a close.
Throughout Meaghanne and Tatiana’s Maine engagement session, we focused on candid moments and a documentary-style approach, letting their love story unfold organically. As a queer-friendly and LGBTQ Maine photographer, it was an honor to capture their journey and celebrate love in all its forms.
So here’s to adventure, love, and the wild beauty of Acadia National Park. And to Tatiana and Meaghanne – may your love continue to find new adventures together
