I took a black-and-white film photography class in 2011 (this is why I still love and incorporate film into every wedding). I got my first professional digital camera in high school in 2012. The first wedding I photographed was in 2015. I quit my career path to counseling and became a full-time photographer in 2020. At this point, my cameras feel like an extension of my hand.

I would consider my style unique in the sense that the majority of the day I focus on documentary style or photojournalistic photography. I want photography to be the last thing on your mind during your day. Enjoy the moment so that I can capture the moment authentically. When there is extra time during portraits or at the end of the night I do love to add some unique flares and may have you pose for some cool lighting effects that can add some extra pizzazz to your final gallery. In short, photojournalistic with a funky twist.

I hear this from nearly every couple I photograph. Yup, even those stunners that look so natural and carefree in my portfolio! It’s not an everyday experience to have a camera shoved in your face so my easy-going approach combined with my years of experience leads even the most awkward and camera-shy folks to look like themselves in every photo! Our goal is to highlight your relationship, not your imperfections. As a plus-sized self-proclaimed weirdo and goofy goober, I get it and I’ve got your back! You just get to have fun and look at your person, I’ll handle the rest.
